Breakfast Smoothie
My kids often have this smoothie in the morning, it gives them a little boost before school to get the day started. Really simple to make as I use frozen berries, blackberries or blueberries, really whatever I have. I add in a bit of green spinach and some nut butter for energy.
ingredients
serves 2-3
100g frozen berries
200-250ml milk (dairy or non-dairy)
handful of baby spinach, washed
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 tablespoon nut butter (not suitable for nut allergies)
method
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth and serve.
